The game play modes in ALPHA 3 MAX include world tour, dramatic battle, variable battle, survival, free battle, and team battle. The game also includes wireless modes, allowing players to take on nearby friends to claim the STREET FIGHTER championship. Four different multiplayer modes are included: versus, team battle, variable battle, and dramatic battle.
