Both screens are almost flawless. There are no dead pixels on either screen. I noticed a couple small hairline scratches when I put the system under some light. I would give the screens 9.5 out 10. The outside has some light wear and scratches but it looks well taken care of. I'd give the outside 8.5 out of 10. The DS carry-on case is handy for storage and protection of the system.
