During the 1980s, Iacocca found himself at the helm of Chrysler while De Tomaso was owner of the historic Maserati brand. In 1984, both companies signed a memorandum of understanding to create a sport coupe, which ultimately became the TC." The engine is smooth and powerful, the transmission shifts well, and there are NO known mechanical problems with this car. Fly in and drive this car home anywhere! The interior is exceptional for the age of the vehicle- the leather is in superb condition, and the carpets are clean and excellent. This was a non-smoker's vehicle as well. This interior looks GREAT- please see the photos! The exterior of this car is excellent. The paint and body are clean and in great condition. There are no noted dings, dents or scratches, nor any noted body rust. The convertible top is BRAND NEW, and the factory hardtop is included as well. To nitpick, one of the hardtop "opera" windows is foggy, and there are a few minor dings in the chrome strip above the front bumper.
